Thanks for visiting our site. We hope that you will be blessed as your browse through our puppy pages and that you will find just the right puppy to match you canine companion needs. We strive to produce a well-balanced line of dogs that are not only peacefully temperate but are also healthy and energetic. Although we are called "Alabaster Kennels", our puppies are all born in our home. Our dogs are not kept in small cramped kennels, but have the run of an entire acre that is fenced in just for them. They are played with and cared for daily as members of our family. Our puppies are loved and handled by our entire family and are accustomed to other animals as well when they leave our home. They will come to you happy, healthy, and energetic!
The Story about us
We have always been enthusiastic dog lovers, owning pets for most of our lives. We have always been partial to Labrador Retrievers and consider them to be an outstanding breed. However, our daughter fell in love with the Australian Shepherd breed and we must admit, they too are truly wonderful dogs. And so, Alabaster Kennels has spawned from our daughter's desire to continue the bloodline of her first "Aussie" (known to us as Susie) for generations to come. We pray that the pups who have followed her will bring as much pleasure to others as she has brought us. Yet, I cannot simply abandon the Lab either. Hence, the explanation behind the unlikely combination of the dual breeds at our kennels.
